Re: I can't click advesin button

Can you see the button or is it completely gone? What language do you use, from google translate I seem to be getting similar reports from Russian and Polish players, perhaps there is some issue with the string length? Can you see if it works in English in case you are using a different langugage? @...

Cell Lab PC "dev blog"

By request I will post some progress here, though not super often. I kind of have the main ideas of how the game will be but it is all subject to change so I prefer to not reveal too much and then feel obliged to implement it. Also, I intend the PC version to kind of have a story, not just challenge...

Re: How is the development of the PC version going?

I didn't see many updates on the progress of the PC version of Cell lab, I just can't wait to play Cell lab on my PC :D I'll post some screenshots of my progress in another thread, kind of like a developing blog but not updated so regularly :P. @BL0Zz, I don't have a windows machine and generally a...

Exactly, it is a good idea, though I have other things with higher priority.

Re: 8bit Angle Variables

Yeah it would definitely be possible and save some memory in a lot of cases. It would just be more work for me figuring out what precision is necessary in each case and to properly rescale it. Just using floats everywhere is simply easier.

Forum Down

Hi All,
As you might have noticed the forum was down the past two days. There seemed to have been a lot more hits than usual, maybe some sort of attack (spam/DOS) or just a lot of users. Anyways it works again now.

Cheers,
Petter

Re: Translations

Hi,
I can try it out and send it to you when I test the Portuguese if you upload it to the wiki, http://wiki.cell-lab.net/Translations.

Cheers,

Re: Gene drives

I guess this is the link you refer to: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P0HPHUzsHbI ? Really interesting project, both biology-wise and the ethics questions it poses. I was first thinking one could approximate this behaviour in cell lab by making an organism that reproduces sexually with gametes. Add...

Re: Move tool for every bounded cells

"plus the current optical tweezer's is a bit annoying, as they only support 1 cell to be moved" - you can move as many cells at the same time as you have fingers and toes. If you want to move a three cell organisms you can zoom in a bit and put a finger on each cell and drag them together. Multifing...
