Re: Splitting based on nervous signal

You could program a Stemocyte that changes into the cell that splits immediately. It can be controlled by Stereocytes or Senseocytes.. My problem is that I'm trying to get something to split into a stemocyte, and having them go back and forth is a huge waste of energy, which defeats the purpose of ...

Splitting based on nervous signal

I think cells should have a second option where you can choose to have them split bases on signal instead of mass.

Re: Virocyte copy to

Was definitely an exaggeration, but it is super annoying. Having to reorder the entire genome seems a bit absurd to, no?

Virocyte copy to

Not sure if this is a bug or "feature" but Virocyte are missing the copy to box. If this is feature, it makes Virocyte nearly impossible to work with, please change it back.

Re: Tested challenges and tutorial

Adaptation works
Just to clarify, is it intentional that you don't get flagellocytes? It seems odd to leave it up to chance that your organism gets lucky and gets the flagellocytes gene.

Cell remover crashes cell lab

Sorry, not sure if this has been posted already, or if beta reports go somewhere else. Using the cell remover crashed cell lab. I'm on an HTC 10 on Android 7.0

Off topic: This new update looks amazing. Thanks for all your hardwork

Re: Virocytes redone

I've made two prototypes for now... I can add a stemocyte to the virocyte transfer, but I didn't understand exactly where you needed it. The first one is similar to yours: linear viroswimmer substrate ...and the linear viroswimmer genome It's linear, and the virocyte (M7) copies M3 to M3, and trans...

Re: Virocytes redone

Just one tip: stemocyte M4 differentiates to M8, never splits, and has children M6 and M7 which I think you don't use. List M8 as one of its children, so you'll copy it along with M4, and it'll differentiate properly after the infection. But yeah it takes lots of modes, what you want to do. I alrea...

Re: Virocytes redone

-snip- This is what I'm trying to create: https://www.dropbox.com/s/0i1x39aexyo1u4h/parasite.genome?dl=0 Basically a virus which senses when anborganism is nearby, then spawns smart swimmers to infect it. I'm not sure how to accurately control the descendant infectants, but I do think there should ...

Virocytes redone

I think with all the new additions, the way virocytes work need to be redone. First off, now that there are more modes in the game, virocytes should be able to copy more modes, perhaps entire genomes, which are often requires in their entirety to work. Secondly, there should be more control over how...
