Re: smellescyte (tasteless cell concept)

And what about the other cells of the oganism?

So basically you want a cell that cannot be detected. What kind of organisms would that enable?

Re: 59: Move it (Version 101) too easy

Hi Petter, Praizmlet has found a pretty reliable way to solve this challenge in the current CL version in an unintended way with just Phagocytes. I think this might warrant an update after all. I know the difficulty is already high otherwise, but I think it would be the right move in this case. What...

Re: Move it!

Not bad! That might warrant for an update of the substrate :-)

Re: Move it!

Good job! Can I see how you did it? It's been reported that a very simple Phagocyte organism can get lucky and solve it.

Re: Scarce condition

Right, a genome solving Scarce 2 should also be able to solve Scarce 1 since 2 is basically 1 just without the Myocyte.

Re: Infestation

Interesting question. The difficulties are derived from statistics on players solving/not solving the challenges. Guess more people are struggling with this one than expected.

Re: whats the difference of the stereocyte and the senseocyte

Senseocyte can also be set to create a negative signal if you set the slider to a negative value. It just can't detect any direction while the Stereocyte can.

Re: whats the difference of the stereocyte and the senseocyte

Senseocytes detect the presence of a stimulus. Stereocytes basically do the same but with a differentiation between left or right of the cell. If the stimulus is left of the Stereocyte it produces a positive signal (if you've set the slider to a positive value) and if it's on the right side, the Ste...
