Re: Grass (So Satisfying)

Your substrate didn't open, did you use flagella undulations, like this? :D

Realistic Two-Gender Swimmers

I made a "fish" species with two separate genders. Males make blue eggs, females make pink/purple eggs. The eggs float to the bottom of the substrate, where they create new fish that float up. There are some problems with gender inequality, there are more males then females. I'm not sure why, but wo...

Grass (So Satisfying)

A sample of cellular seagrass. Periodically, most of the grass strand dies in a satisfactory way. :) https://www.dropbox.com/s/0nzjm0eo2nstx0e/Grass.substrate?dl=0 The grass is somewhat fragile, and can only properly thrive in a narrow set of conditions. The height can be modified by using salinity,...

Grass

On this peculiar substrate there are some samples of microbial grass. Periodically, the grass strands die off, leaving a long strand of small nutrients. Even though the salinity is low, can you develop an organism that survives? No using photocytes, unless it is otherwise impossible. :D ~25 organism...

Re: Stabilizer

Nice! I like how you used 2 flagellocytes to stabilize the cell. Your organism is more efficient than mine due to that. This is a fun use of the velocity detection function, isn't it? :)

Space???

I created these organisms to be able to survive in space-like conditions. They use stereocytes and flagellocytes to become perfectly still. They need no nitrates, and all cells are protected with keratinocytes to protect them from any "space debris." The exception to this is the center cell, which i...

Re: An brain like organism

Great job! Very interesting design. I like the creative use of stemocytes and stereocytes. I once created a similar "rainbow organism", but that utilized cell splitting. This was pre stemocytes of course.

Re: Ultra Efficency

I don't currently have Dropbox, but will create an account. I created this cell for dodging walls. :) It is pretty basic, but gets the job done. Same substrate works fine.

Ultra Efficency

The challenge: :D On a substrate with no food, some organisms have evolved an interesting capability. ;) They compress gametes into food in an internal chamber. Can you make an organism that is optimized to flourish on this substrate? 100 cells should do fine. No photocytes or devorocytes. Extra Cha...

Re: 2 Mode Challenge

I actually created a 4 mode seeker, so that would be a bit too easy. :) I didn't know there was a similar challenge, as I am kinda new to the forum. Here is the genome if you are interested. I had to make it non-linear, as linear seekers were too unstable. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1O8eGJC-bUI...
