Re: Stabilizer

Nice! I like how you used 2 flagellocytes to stabilize the cell. Your organism is more efficient than mine due to that. This is a fun use of the velocity detection function, isn't it? :)

Space???

I created these organisms to be able to survive in space-like conditions. They use stereocytes and flagellocytes to become perfectly still. They need no nitrates, and all cells are protected with keratinocytes to protect them from any "space debris." The exception to this is the center cell, which i...

Re: An brain like organism

Great job! Very interesting design. I like the creative use of stemocytes and stereocytes. I once created a similar "rainbow organism", but that utilized cell splitting. This was pre stemocytes of course.

Re: Ultra Efficency

I don't currently have Dropbox, but will create an account. I created this cell for dodging walls. :) It is pretty basic, but gets the job done. Same substrate works fine.

Ultra Efficency

The challenge: :D On a substrate with no food, some organisms have evolved an interesting capability. ;) They compress gametes into food in an internal chamber. Can you make an organism that is optimized to flourish on this substrate? 100 cells should do fine. No photocytes or devorocytes. Extra Cha...

Re: 2 Mode Challenge

I actually created a 4 mode seeker, so that would be a bit too easy. :) I didn't know there was a similar challenge, as I am kinda new to the forum. Here is the genome if you are interested. I had to make it non-linear, as linear seekers were too unstable. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1O8eGJC-bUI...

Minimum mode showcase!

2 mode swimmer: The simplest possible swimmer, ( excluding miotic propolsion ) this can be used for very complicated organisms that need every mode. If you want to develop it yourself, there is a challenge in the user challenge forum. This is not optimized, but could be easier than other swimmers du...

Re: 2 Mode Challenge

I took the spoiler instructions out, and am moving the swimmer to the creations section. Spoiler tags would be great, but it's unlikely they will be implemented any time soon.

2 Mode Challenge

The lab's funding is running dry, and we are now unable to create complex creations. If the lab can beat the record for the simplest swimmer, then funding might return. :D Can you create a simple swimmer using only 2 modes :?: Difficulty: Easy RULES: Only 2 (o) Modes Phagocytes (o) and Flagell...

Splitting Seeker

I was tinkering with my main smart swimmer, and realized that the highest death rate was when the initial (o) was deposited on the substrate by the adult cell. I circumvented this by making the entire swimmer split in half. The swimmer works surprising well, but is not optimized. This is my fi...
