Re: Steam version questions

I wouldn't mind throwing a couple of bucks into Petter's pocket for a PC version.

Conjugation AKA reverse infection

AKA gene snatchers.

Bacteria (IIRC archea too) can swap snippets of DNA, so why not introduce a cell type that does exactly that? Upon touching other cells it would randomly pick up some of their genome.

Re: Food gravitation

Pretty sure it's been suggested a couple of times already. I support this nevertheless.

Re: Nitocyte (stinging cells/long range attacking cells)

That is a really great idea IMO. I can already think of multiple uses for such cell type, such as injecting genome, poisoning out of reach cells and, mentioned by you, grabbing onto stuff. However, I'm also afraid it would make some other types of cells redundant. The cell you're suggesting should h...

That's pretty smart and amazing how we can do similar things in this game.

Shadows for lifted cells

It's sometimes hard to tell if a myocyte is lifted or not so it would be nice if an offset shadow would appear whenever that happens.

Re: Tips, tricks and settings for random evolution

Another observation of the same substrate. I had organisms that anchored themselves (simple gluocyte+photocyte colonies) to stay as close to light but after a while they evolved into a simpler form (the organism became mobile and consisted only of 2 photocytes). However, after reducing light range t...

Re: [Suggestion] Mutations View

I'm not sure I would find such feature useful tbh. If an organism mutates enough and keeps being alive then what's the point of checking how many mutations it has gone through? If you like the creature then just load it into the editor and save for later use.

Re: Tips, tricks and settings for random evolution

An observation I made today: If you run a simulation for a while with all of the cell types enabled (Gene pool) and then disable some of them they will still show up from time to time and I'm pretty sure I know why. So let's say you have the whole gene pool enabled. You let the simulation run for a ...
