Re: 13 - Floaters

Hi, Buoyocytes paired with Photocytes did the trick for me, you just have to make sure they split at a small mass so that you get a lot of small cells, that way more cells can fit in the sunlight area. I also made sure all cells are connected, not just the one buoyocyte and photocyte but all connect...

Re: Non floating buoyocytes

Hi,
Did you change their density property? A new slider is available for that celltype and it behaves as a normal cell if the default value is used. I'll try to make this clearer in the next update.

Hope that helps!

Cheers,
Petter

Re: 10: Infestation

Did you try simply putting a Devorocytes next to each one of them? I would suggest putting a couple close to each island and make sure to have like 12 spare ones, then unpause a short moment and pause again. See which ones survived and put like 8 more around them. Then unpause, pause and if there ar...

Re: Cell limit wipes out more complicated organisms

Hi, As zeath is saying, it is not a bug that they die when they crash. Cells die if the center of them is inside a larger cell or outside the plate. A force is applied when they touch something but it might not be enough to stop them from moving if they are travelling very fast. I guess not many cel...

Invisible sliders in Android L

Sliders seem to be invisible for at least two users in Android L, fix is made and will be rolled out in the coming days.

Re: 5: Macrophages II

Hmm, that did not show up as intended, all my spaces are gone. Krell365: Indeed this is the simplest creature of the game, though after I wrote the hint that 3 modes are required I've been thinking if it might be possible to make a surviving swimmer with just 2 modes for that challenge. I've managed...

Re: 5: Macrophages II

Krell365: So your mode 2 gives off a mode 4 that then gives rise to two swimmers? Sounds cool, don't think I've tried that. If it indeed spreads faster maybe we can make a new challenge, like get 400 cells within a very short time period. Maybe we can represent the organisms like this? This would be...

Hmm, maybe I'll just make it so that the cells always appears the same direction it was in the editor in the next update.

Virocyte bug in version 19

Hi, It has been brought to my attention that the cell properties "Virus copy from" and "Virus copy to" do not update in the GUI when a new genome is loaded or the mode is switched. This is fixed in version 20 that will be uploaded soon. The cells still work correctly but designing them can be very c...
