Tried it before by unticking their stay alive button so passing by larvae might salvage their corpses but by doing that they couldnt reach farther distances and die. I also have tried playing with their nutrient priority but their head, which is the most important part died not getting their nutrien...

Really nifty! They fertilize each other's egg.... that was attached to another egg? And absorbs its nutrient. Really cool!.
