Re: "Bubble" Smart Swimmer

The swimmer tried spinning, that's a good trick.

Re: "Bubble" Smart Swimmer

So I was playing around with the genome and I discovered this-

A smart lipo-egg swimmer with only 4 cells.

It's not all that scarce considering the salinity ;)

Buoyocyte Only Smart Floaters

So, this isn't a much of an actual challenge with constraints as it is an idea for a new possible organism. I've been wondering if there is a way to create a smart organism that only uses buoyocytes for propulsion. The difficulty with such a creature would be getting it to move sideways. I think the...

Radiation Resistance

All cells should have a new slider called radiation resistance that ranges from 0 to 0.090 (max radiation level). Radiation resistance subtracts from the radiation level of the substraight and then applies it to the cell like normal. Once the radiation resistance of a cell exceeds the radiation leve...

Re: 2 Mode Swimmer

So, I did it, partially. I have a general design, but it still needs tweaking to work. I think everything is good except for the flagellocyte split mass, and all three nutrient priorities. The included genome just has all four of these things set to default, and thus will not function in its current...

Re: 2 Mode Swimmer

I've been trying to create a 3 cell immune swimmer using only 3 cells but with no success. It's pretty easy to cut it down to 4 from the usual 5 by using the same flagellocyte egg trick as I used in the 2 mode swimmer. I'm still not convinced it's impossible. Kudos to anyone who makes it if it is po...

2 Mode Swimmer

I'm not sure if this has been done before, but I created a swimmer that uses only 2 modes. I've started to become interested with making organisms more more more efficient, so we as a community can create more complex things. The key to making more more efficient organisms is to eliminate intermedia...
