Re: The goldfish: (pseudo) random movement

That's an interesting set of mechanisms for randomizing Stemocyte differentiation. I like the Buoyocytes. :) If you make the Neurocytes very different colors the randomness is more apparent. There isn't a hidden cycle per se. The cycle of the front Neurocyte is probably different in different swimm...

Re: The goldfish: (pseudo) random movement

This is really cool! :D . My first time viewing a randomized genome, I know there is also Bwisialo's dimorphic preds that is randomized on food and prey, also his brownian motion. But, yours is really interesting using oscilating neurocyte. Maybe there is actually a hidden cycle between the neurocy...

Re: Evolution page on the wiki

Ok, agreed, it's under Miscellaneous now!

About the "not the ultimate proof of the perfect evolution", I don't know how to write this. Would you like to add it?

Re: Microscope bug

Can you reproduce this bug consistently? I mean, does it happen when you do something specific?

Re: An easy way I beat avoidance

Wow, the simple gluocyte. Who'd have thought. I used a "trick" solution, but I used a gluocyte that would split into a neurocyte and the egg of a smart swimmer. The neurocyte would be stuck to the stemocyte and provide negative signalling, while the smart swimmer would do its thing and cover the pla...

Re: Unable to open .genome in android

Now my phone decided that it will open .substrate files from Downloads, after all.
Not sure what did the trick. The file browser I use, "Total Commander", updated 3 days ago but maybe it's something that was updated earlier than that.

Evolution page on the wiki

I've added a page about evolution on the Wiki:

http://wiki.cell-lab.net/Evolution

Would anybody like to improve it? I'm sure there are "tricks of the trade" that I don't know yet.

Re: 3D Graphics/Organisms

I like the "a bit 3d" concept. :D I don't know how it would work, but it seems like it could be a sort of z-axis going straight "in". So, instead of layers per se, the cells could have a depth or altitude or "z" variable, and they would look larger or smaller depending on how close they were to the...

Re: Idea Bank 2.0

...this is awesome, but where are the genomes that match the ideas?
I.e.
