Similar to other folks, my initial strategy was a strand of Buoyocytes and Photocytes that shoots out Devorocytes. But it's a tough balance. Ideally, you want a genome that 1) is destructive enough to kill the red swimmers but 2) not so destructive that it self destructs before killing all the red s...

Here is a 3-cell solution that reaches 700. It creates alternating cell types (a strand that is photocyte, buocyocyte, photocyte, buoyocyte, photocyte, etc.), which can be useful in other challenges. I developed a phagocyte-flagellocyte combination that peaks at 450 and sustains a population between 370-430. The key was to have the seed cell briefly adhere to the swimmer when the seed cell pops out of the swimmer's phagocyte. P.S. After a little more time in the experiment lab, it now peaks at 5...
