A virocyte infects a creature, turning one of their cells into a virocyte. The other creature's virocyte infects the old virocyte back, giving it new modes into its genome.
Cross infection, in a way.

Re: Logic Gate and Energy Stability

Any form of reproduction causes the cell to have an altered every production. Any form of damage done to the cell also has similar effects. The problem here is also how photocyte production also depends on the size of the photocyte.

Re: Experiment: can SoilMakers sustain smart swimmers?

Eu Sou A Fazenda has claimed that his SoilMakers can sustain life, and to be honest I was a little skeptical at first. However, I placed one in a substrate with my most efficient smart swimmer, and the result ended my doubts. The substrate below has no nutrients, just max light and one SoilMaker. h...

Re: Shielded beast

Here you have to push to the wall my triple caps wall esphere (everyone has right to put weird names to their creations) and yes the thing in the middle is a "?" You probabbly don't imagine how much try & fail was for that. And about the challenge there are a few rules, other than the obvious ones ...

Sci-fo wrote:Thanks, that explains what went wrong. Could you also help explain why after a long period of time all my cells seem to die extremely rapidly (ussualy around 3000 hours)
I'd have to see the substrate for that

Re: More SoilMakers.

Make a soilmaker which stays at the bottom of substrate (no gravity) throwing buyocyte bubbles upwards.

Re: How does one make a gene stealing microorganism?

/title With a lot of painful work. But to sum it up with an example: M20 is a virocyte which infects M4 M4 is a virocyte which infects M1 (M20's children is M20 itself and the prey's reproductive organ aka. usually the stereocyte) (The reproductive organ's mode should not be able to reproduce) (M4'...

Re: Sun position memory

While I was designing my sun-detecting plant I came upon a very major and annoying problem. If we click on the substrate or genome tab, the position of the sun resets, wiping out the fragile, sensitive, and exotic ecosystem which relies heavily on a reliable sun, making simple checks on genome and ...

Pathogen Researching Event [Virocytes] on Discord

https://discord.gg/hgBNnpy Summary: We will be doing a two-team competition of designing the best virus, and curing the other team's virus. "We will do a teamfight, two teams trying to create the better virus than the other. Once the teams are set, I'll post a substrate (which I already tested) and ...
