Re: [Competition] Looking for the most efficient Basic Swimmer

I don't think this will work. A swimmer evolved to thrive in a very harsh environment is usually slow and reproduces less often than a swimmer designed to max out a standard substrate. Even though the swimmer that max out the standard substrate isn't the strongest swimmer for the standard substrate....

Re: Basic classification for user created species (for the wiki)

Isn't a better option...?

Cell aware?

Food aware?

This explains a bit more, because an organism can be both cell aware and food aware.

I don't see a point in putting cell chasing or cell avoiding because the same organism can do both things just by inverting the output of the detection cells.

What does that mean?

Re: Basic classification for user created species (for the wiki)

The discussion has officially grown out of my understanding.

I don't have anything else to say, at least for the moment.

I keep an eye on the topic thou, the parts that I can comprehend look really cool.

The reaper already killed everyone but me :(

I survived because of my coffin of keratynocytes in which I sleep... For some reason.

Re: Unofficial Forum Chat

*The phagocyte evolves in a photocyte that protects Candy with keratynocytes*

Now I'll defeat you with the power of the sun!!

*the mutant giant photocyte starts spitting gleucocytes at the speed of light towards the reaper*

Now you won't harm anyone

Re: Unofficial Forum Chat

A phagocite starts eating the remains of dead Gods and becomes an overpowered organism that eats the reaper alive.

Trapping and lurking are behaviours more common in predators than in herbivorous creatures.

I don't have a clue...

Would you consider flytraps predators?

Re: Ranged Prey

You could make them gleucocyte based so they don't need a keratynocyte, you may base them on Bwisialo's self avoiding predators, so they don't stick to each other.
