Re: Basic classification for user created species (for the wiki)

I THINK I GOT THE SOLUTION TO ALL OF OUR PROBLEMS!!! at least this one... That's right! We should just call devoroucyte-based organism predators and organism that use gleucocytes to feed on other species parasites. What made you change your mind? (You may ask) A simple realization! There's no single...

Re: Can Cell Lab utilize my PC's full potential?

You would probably be able to run faster and bigger simulations.

The app let's you create as big of a substrate as you want, is your responsibility to know how much your device can handle.

If a lion eats a deer's leg is a predator even if it didn't kill their prey.

Re: Basic classification for user created species (for the wiki)

Parasites should be classified based in their way of feeding indeed. But, I want to clarify something first, that we may be forgetting. A parasite doesn't necessarily need to harm a species, so for example a virocyte that helps a species is then a parasite. Note that the virus is not a parasite, but...

Re: Basic classification for user created species (for the wiki)

Honestly Bwisialo, only you and Alast understand freaking virocytes... As virus focused species usually target one specific genome, or at most, a number of genomes that has the conditions required to get infected. I think that they would sometimes be parasites, when they reproduce based on...

Re: 3 parents

So.. The partially developed egg is like a toddler that requires milk to turn into an adult?

Something like that? Wtf?!

Do you release that you have to sprinkle sperm in an egg to make it hatch?

Re: Trans-cell

You're not forced to use "conditional reproduction" just cuz I came up with that, I'm no authority here, I'm more like a janitor actually.

Use what you feel more comfortable with.
