Re: Make programmable cells easier to mutate.

The parameters do change though. And I'm pretty sure there was a thread about this: evolution doesn't care if you are smart or dumb. If something eats and lives long enough to reproduce then it's good enough to stay around. Viruses are a (sorta) good example. They don't have brains and yet they have...

Re: version 98

There aren't any game-breaking bugs as far as I'm concerned and only a couple small ones. Just want to tell you're doing solid work, Petter! There's a food bug though. Nothing major, but when there's food on the substrate and you switch 'mobile food' to ON the food that was on the substrate disappea...

Cell angle instead of child angle

Just a simple little thing I've noticed. It's nothing serious but it would be nice to have it IMO. When you want to rotate a cell (for example flagellocyte) you have to go back to the parent cell, tap on it (or just choose the right mode) and adjust the 'child angle' slider. It would be nice if we c...

Re: Hybrid cell/Eukaryocyte

This actually got suggested a few times in the past. And while I find the idea intruiging, it, unfortunately, contradicts the design approach of having specialized cell types each fulfilling exactly one function. I see. I figured since the cells in the game have nucleus and some sort of organelles ...

Hybrid cell/Eukaryocyte

AFAIK single-celled organisms combine a couple of functions while being a single cell. What would be nice is ability to combine 2 cells into one. Maybe to balance that out they should require more energy to stay alive. Call it eukaryocyte? So for example: you combine a sensocyte and a stemocyte. Now...

Re: Account Systems

I agree. A simpler thing to do (I think) would be having a save file with all your progress and organisms saved on it. Then you could just upload it to your Dropbox/Google Drive/cloud/whatever and load it in whenever you switch/reset the device.

How do you even keep that massive thing alive?
