Dancing Cactus variant (Juggler)

Post by drowemos » Tue Feb 12, 2019 1:41 am

Alast made this neat dancing cactus(viewtopic.php?f=3&t=6596&sid=f0447a3b37 ... a4155de8fc) organism, and while I was enchanted by it's gyrations there seemed to be something off about it. Then it hit me. He made a creature that was riding a unicycle, but it wasn't juggling. What's up with that?

Well, I'm here to correct that obvious oversight with a variant on his original organism.

Note: I had to really slow down the speed of the "ball" to accommodate how slowly a unicycle organisms changes direction, and the limited range of sensor cells. But if you set the substrate on incubate it kind of looks like the organism is juggling.

Awesome! I love the way it gets its food by sending a ball into the lighted part. :D
