Tap on a random cell of the worm and open the genome tab. Then go to edit M1 and set it to the initial cell. Then you can put it everywhere you want.

The m1 isn't the starting cell of the bobbit worm

I think it is the m12...?

I don't know, my file explorer in my phone don't recognise .substrate file as a Cell Lab file, so I can't test it myself. :x  Try making each cell mode the initial and you will find out.

Yes, M12
However you need max light amount/range for its right growth. The worm never stop growing, you have to regulate the length manually
