## Solid Square in Square

### Re: Solid Square in Square

within a square you mean???

### Re: Solid Square in Square

Yeah, but I was of kidding. Proportions (height to width) and angles (neighboring cells in square are vertical, horizontal, or diagonal) would seem to make it sort of impossible. You could perhaps create a blocky pyramid of sorts, but not a triangle really.

### Re: Solid Square in Square

I'm gonna try solid squares on solid squares with the same orientation next. So like the first picture I posted in this thread, but with the pattern repeating.

Nice work! You may not have / want this as your next project, but I'm guessing it would be possible to have the squares be patterns rather than solid red and solid green. Just to play with patterns and aesthetics.

I was also thinking we could have a single forum thread where we posted links to our fractal genomes so other folks can examine and play with them.

### Re: Solid Square in Square

Oh yeah, that's fairly easy from there. Just needs incorporating a few more modes in different colors.

### Re: Solid Square in Square

Here's a pattern for you Just added 2 more modes to the genome:

Very cool! Nice choice of patterns. The blue is the "ice fractal" thing, and it gives you a sort of blue diamond in there as well. The patterns work out well down to the center.

### Re: Solid Square in Square

I played a little more with my Solid Squares genome. Got a wind wheel

And this version of squares on squares
