Unusual Myocyte and Hybrid Swimmers

Post by bwisialo » Fri Sep 02, 2016 4:38 am

Just playing around with designs ;) I'd been wanting to try a design of parallel Myocyte swimmers, and thinking of ways that swimmers can continue to develop after being "born." The other species in the first video was an odd spin-off that managed to do well -- looks like some sort of mantis creature.

I'd also been wanting to try the front Flagellocyte, knowing that you can turn the tail of a Flagellocyte into the open center of a four-cell square. Given the design, I was a bit surprised I got it to live on Scarce III, and very surprised that it didn't take a lot of tweaking for it to complete Scarce III.
