Project Oceanum: Predonum

Post by humon » Sun Oct 15, 2017 10:28 pm

Finally a balanced substrate with predators. Three prey, the crabs are endangered though. Might go extinct. The substrate doesn't last forever, I give it 3000 hours at most. The shrimps survive near the bottom, the fish feed at the main areas, and the immortal predators hunt everything. Some of them are outdated and will die faster. Others were improved and last longer.

-First experiment of the Aspiring Apprentice-
Once a single split,
Now a grand gift,
Thanks to evolution,
A complete revolution.

The substrate being well lit,
The cells no longer fit,
One last tragic split:
"I quit!"

Nice that's prety cool. Have you considered using a stemo/senso combination to have them rebirth on death rather than be immortal?
Like Tettigonia s 3rd genome from viewtopic.php?f=3&t=4809 but set so when it stops detecting itself.

Edit: I love the way that different smart organisms do better at different levils on this substrate.
