tettigonia's Mega Gene Bank. (Lots of downloads!)

Post your creations here. It can be either a cool genome or an interesting ecosystem. Indicate if you designed it yourself or if it was created through evolution, or both :). File, picture, or video is required.

tettigonia's Mega Gene Bank. (Lots of downloads!)

Post by tettigonia » Sun Oct 22, 2017 3:30 am

I have a 16GB flash drive that contains only the following genomes, the product of many hours of engineering and reengineering in my favorite game. Each and every one has demonstrated thousands of (cell lab) hours of proven reliability and was precisely designed with this factor in mind. Feel free to download and modify any of these genomes. I still can't figure out how to post pictures but I'll try to provide a description for every substrate and post the genomes next to it.

None of the posted substrates will achieve equilibrium if they contain a predator. This is just to showcase the creatures in an enviroment where they can survive, even for a limited time. Extract the genomes before one species dies out, or just download the genome :)

I will periodically edit this post so come back once in a while to check for any new developments.

The following substrate contains:
- A 6 celled "Alien" rectangular prey species (green) with nitrocytes and hidden flagellocytes
- A 6 celled "Alien" rectangular predator (black) with hidden flagellocytes
- A 6 celled predator developed fron the kite configuration (black)

Green Alien prey: https://www.dropbox.com/s/d3d22etf7samj ... enome?dl=0
Alien predator: https://www.dropbox.com/s/ig67oarp6tka6 ... enome?dl=0
Normal predator: https://www.dropbox.com/s/cpqol9bf2bfot ... enome?dl=0

Edit: Here is a new "Normal predator" genome, this one is optimized to actually complete the Predator challenge.

The following substrate contains:
- A simple kite swimmer (green)
- A simple immune (keratinocyte) kite swimmer with arms (colorful)
Substrate: https://www.dropbox.com/s/6xi4nha04y1pt ... trate?dl=0
Kite swimmer: https://www.dropbox.com/s/bo215s9g4425l ... enome?dl=0
Immune swimmer: https://www.dropbox.com/s/srfat6mjuficg ... enome?dl=0

The following substrate contains:
- Simple dumb swimmers (optimized for scarce enviroment)
- Alien dumb swimmers
Substrate: https://www.dropbox.com/s/eizhudxl43pdo ... trate?dl=0
Come on, you can get the genomes from the substrate. I'm too lazy to go through the whole Dropbox ordeal :)
And who likes dumb swimmers anyway?

Edit: Here is a nine celled prey species, so far the biggest organism in this post. I use these to feed large predators. Nine celled predator coming soon.

Note: This post took a long time to create, not even mentioning all the genetic engineering, so please take a minute to test these genomes and give back your complete and honest feedback. Thank you, Cell Lab community, for all the support.

I hope these downloads work, I was up til 2 making this.......

You're really into Cell Lab, huh? Very Nice Genomes, btw.

You could make more genomes out of them by using them as a template. Probably a serpent or somethinf else..

I do also recommend using more templates to get various organisms. Very interesting genomes sometimes pop-out from those templates

Instructions unclear, kite swimmers didn't react to danger.
-First experiment of the Aspiring Apprentice-
Once a single split,
Now a grand gift,
Thanks to evolution,
A complete revolution.

The substrate being well lit,
The cells no longer fit,
One last tragic split:
"I quit!"
