More SoilMakers.

Post your creations here. It can be either a cool genome or an interesting ecosystem. Indicate if you designed it yourself or if it was created through evolution, or both :). File, picture, or video is required.

More SoilMakers.

Post by Eu Sou A Fazenda » Sat Oct 28, 2017 6:37 pm

Alright. Ive decided to make some more soilmakers.

This one is the RainMaker. It has many inovations.
First, its a vertical one. It works only on gravity!
Secondly, the middle stage is way bigger. In my first soilmaker,
it didnt had a middle stage - it was from the initial (photocyte) to final (keratinocyte).
After that, ive upgraded it to add a middle stage, that turn into 2 Keratinocytes. Here, the
middle stage is way bigger, consisting of many cell nodes: they turn into Phagocytes, that they
eat a while, then split into some more Phagocytes. These turn into Keratinocytes - the "rain"!
This means that up there it have less food. Another cool thing is that when another organism is
on the substract it will have less rain, due to being harder for the Phagocytes to split!
Try adding a simple swimmer there!

This one is the CircleMaker. Its actualy a failed attempt in making a SoilMaker that circles
around the entire substract. However I couldnt find the right angles to do it, so it ended
doing small circles. This one is interesting because it actualy moves around the substract.
The other SoilMakers move around a small area, but the soil they make dont move. This one
does move: put it on incubation and you will see he going from one side to the other.
I dont have a creature with swarming behaviour with me right now, so if any of yours can,
can yours test what happens when the CircleMaker and a colony of cells colide? Im curious!

Anyways. These are my SoilMakers, what do your think? ;)

Make a soilmaker which stays at the bottom of substrate (no gravity) throwing buyocyte bubbles upwards.
-First experiment of the Aspiring Apprentice-
Once a single split,
Now a grand gift,
Thanks to evolution,
A complete revolution.

The substrate being well lit,
The cells no longer fit,
One last tragic split:
"I quit!"

Here's an idea, make a FoodMaker to feed predators with lipocytes.

It's E.S.A.F.'s trademark organism, a photocyte that spits out keratinocytes. Look at his profile picture.

Isnt my "trademark", its more my mascot. Anyone can use and make variations.
Anyways. The SoilMakers is a type of creature I designed.
Its inspiration is the soil of the earth.
It constantly is spitting keratinocytes. The keratinocytes are the "soil".
The keratinocyte confuses smart swimmers, give shelter to smaller one and,
when they die, they leave a piece of food behind (like every other cell). This means there is more food on the ground
than outside of it. Hope I helped.

First, Soilmakers
Now, Rainmakers

I will make a list of your New soilmakers
Edit: You should need to add an effect that the soil makers are affected by rainmakers...
For every failure has made. Try and try again and Success will be achieved

After trying to get organisms from evolution, this came out of nowhere..
Are complex creatures too advanced for you to understand?
Well, let me flood you with them.
