Post your creations here. It can be either a cool genome or an interesting ecosystem. Indicate if you designed it yourself or if it was created through evolution, or both :). File, picture, or video is required.

Fragile Bicoli

Post by H4yw1r3 » Thu Dec 21, 2017 5:19 am

I tried making my own bicoli and decided to put a twist in it. Once it's missing a cell or something goes wrong with the adhesin, it discards that particular wing (Bicolis have 3 parts; left wing, right wing and the center).

Well, here it is:

I love it. It is so amazing I just stared at it. For nearly 30 minutes. This is one of the most amazing ones I have seen

Thanks! I struggled in making the reproduction part work but I thought why not make it fission..

EDIT:
Btw, what I mean by "discard the particular wing" is that it self-destructs that wing to avoid malfunctioning organisms to continually live. Havinnng only one wing doesn't count as a malfunctioned one. They still have a 50/50 chance to regenerate the lost wing..

Soooo beutiful.. I really love how you have merged the regeneration and reproduction in same way :>>

Ikr  . I like the new feature in the beta, with the max connections and stuff. It made it possible for the self-destruct option and for timing in splits..

EDIT:
When predators are present, they use the self-destruct option as a defensive mechanism (after some testing). It's either (1)they starve out the predators by doing collateral damage on other organisms or (2) disarming the predator with their secret weapon while self-destructing, Protease..

A predator that also have phagocyte can eat it's leftovers after dying. Still, cool self destruct system. :)

Killing hundreds makes one a hero.
Killing thousands makes one a king.
Killing millions makes one an emperor.

Yeah. Perhaps the Protease could break the bonds of the Phagocyte, depending on it's position. I've managed to make a Predator capable of surviving it's defensive mechanisms..

I tried it against my ultimate jaw organism. (Still tweaking it, post it soon.) They got distracted by the keratinocytes! NOOOOOO.... :o

And that's why the "wings" are darker than the center.. ;)

So I put my best creation ever against it. My walking stomach. Yes, a moving stomach that finds cells and eats them, crushing them if it can't devorocyte them. Sorry, but your guy lost. (P.s. they did get revenge, one of the protease got stuck on the glueocyte... I will create a creature to defeat them, and call him bicoli killer.)
