Hydra

Post your creations here. It can be either a cool genome or an interesting ecosystem. Indicate if you designed it yourself or if it was created through evolution, or both :). File, picture, or video is required.

Just a substrate of hydra

Hydra reproduce by budding, budding is the forming of bud that similar with it's mother. If the bud could life independent, the bud will detach from it's mother body and seek for food by itself.
(Eventhough that is a little bit not same with the real organism  )

It also uses photocytes so phagocytes are unnecessary

I recently made an organism consisting of one bouyocyte and one photocyte and let it run in radiation and day-night cycle.

What happened was something similar to Hydra (and your organism) where the organism evolved to have gametes which after fusing would create a virocyte (that would repair any mutated cells near it) which would then immediately split into bouyocyte and photocyte again while still being attached to the "mother" cell. It's so amazing how by almost pure chance the organism mutated to repair its parts gaining that way ability to survive harsher radiation.

I changed its colour to black and called it Alien Plant because it reminds me of xenomorph's life cycle where it would infect other organisms and have its clone pop out of it.

Modified a bit but it works basically the same as the original version did.

Let me know if you can access and download it. I don't use Google Drive very often.

Could you upload it to your Dropbox please?
I am sorry about my annoying request (T▽T) because I have a trouble with Google drive file.

is that a genome or a substrate?
If you love it hard enough, eventually you'll be the best at it (o)

Genome. The organism doesn't really need any special conditions since it reproduces fast and uses sunlight as the source of food. It also evolved in gravity so it uses a buoycyte but it should do just fine even without it.
