Signal-Sensitive Prey

I have managed to make a prey capable of blocking other signals other than S1, which is used for navigation of food. It uses Lipocytes to block off the foreign signal/s and clones itself to see which one is infected with such signals. The Stemocyte will do a quick check-up to see whether there's still foreign signals present or not. If the signal's still present, it will start to poison itself, killing the parasite and the clone. Otherwise, both clones would live..

Some disadvantages to consider:

- S1 is used to make the organism work, making signal S1 prone to other malicious acts. No counter can be performed if S1 is also used by the attacker.

- If a Gluo parasite clings unto the Stemocyte, both clones would die.

- Continous infection of foreign signals would lead to nutrient deficiency to the organism/s.

- Poor turning mechanism.

- Of course, easily manipulated by a Virocyte..

Interesting mechanism! It actually need a different signal to breed :-)

One issue I've noticed is when your organism doesn't have enough energy to split. Then no signal gets through to the Myocyte anymore.

Yes, that seems to be a bit of a problem on my prototype. I'll improve it later and post it afterwards. I was trying to implement some ideas in the Idea Bank thread..

Thanks! I'm still not sure if this counts as the organism that can block signals with a Lipocyte, as the one in the Idea Bank 2.0 is pertaining to. I'm still happy that I was able to make this in such little time..

Amazing! Really cool concept.
But Sometimes in the updated one, the split will squeezed and killed the myocyte since it's too small..

It doesn't seem to pop-off the Myocyte in my device. Try making the Stemocyte's (M11) A value into 0.552. Edit the one that uses Cell Mass for signals..
