Anyways I have some theories about the 3 common basic missile power we usually saw this days:

Cyanide Based Projectiles= Higher chance to be able to clean the opponent, leaving a little or no debris at all that may disturbed the battlefield gameplay, however it tends to has the over powered and self destruct nature too also shorten the gameplay time.

Devorocyte Based Projectiles= It has a plausible and natural destruction however debris and unwanted leftover sometimes litter the arena, disturbing the gameplay also whenever the devorocyte sucked the nutrients of the opponent cell, it requires time, plus the lifetime of the Projectile increases, making it more difficult to control and may even harm the allies itself.

Kinetic Based Projectiles= Probably the most realistic missile, However it requires a lot of time for it to recharge and also has a higher rate of failure when facing stronger cells plus it requires a high velocity of propulsion system in order for it to be deadly

Note, Again, this are the common basic missile power we usually saw in the battlefield, however we can still combine several mechanism to create more deadly fun weapons, such as the exploding sticky missile, mine bombs, chemical kinetic projectiles and etc

I agree with you about three types of weapon, also I think cyanide weapons are the most satisfying to watch! Combined with self destruction they actually seem to make explode the target ships 8-)
However keratinocytes help to decrease the over power of HCN.
In the substrate I've posted you can see a triangular ship with white stemocyte, I called it BUGPIN. I think it's the most effective of the actual models.

I see you're using imgur. They make it very easy by selecting the size on the bottom right. I find Large Thumbnail work very well for this purpose.

Nah you both are a good player and creator there, I'm just joining da party, by the way nice creations there, here's my thoughts on those:

The KEAB Turret (Steeletto) was more satisfying to watch this way really reminds me of a retro game (that's hell of an penetrating ability there I found out that the turret A, left one, was good for being destroying layer by layer and detonates at several distance when you set the substrate viscosity to low (around 30.000) this maybe very useful for anti air gun)

Plus the whole idea of self-destruct and become keratinocyte debris when one of the cell or most important cell defuncts or destroyed (WhatTheSillyName), this is the probably best working solution I've ever saw to clean the battlefield while letting some debris exist (yes I ever attempt to do that but fails because as the ship shoots, the whole ship self-destructs, also my version is an HCN debris, making it dangerous for allies, probably secrocytes producing Lipase(which slowly destroying other ships while not being too op for game balance) or protease which breakdown adhesin (creepy)), this is also adding the realistic looking for the battlefield, probably we can add another function for the debris, probably the debris triggered the other ship to stay away, or got attracted...

The arena ships may move slower, but this actually really helps to balance the gameplay and added more weapon abilities and compatibility, such as the kinetic projectiles turret, it works really fine here, glad to hear that, also the keratinocyte debris as self destruct for realistic effect is good, anyway those long ships you made (I call them as "The Wall :lol: ") is interesting, and yes maybe BUGPIN was the most effective because it's a single unit (benefits of single unit, but in hordes, target doesn't focus in one big mark, but instead divided into several marks, so when one got destroyed, other still can attack the target), however the triangular ship with black stemocyte was kinda effective too as they shot the projectiles in rapid fire rate
