Dumb but brutal

Post by Steeletto » Sun Apr 14, 2019 6:52 pm

After few brained speedboost predators I made I wondered if there was a way to obtain the same behaviour but without a Neurocyte.
I thought it was impossible but playing with stereocyte position I tried to put them in a diagonal position respect to the front.
This is the result

Feel free to post your own predator that can survive in SAVANA
Ps: your predator must be red

really nice, until they eat each others "face" XD

what kind of plate size and cell count do you people usually use?

Yes they are pretty "savage", now I'm developing a new predator that slows down when his mass is low to avoid this kind of face explosions 😅

Normally I like large plates with very low nutrients rate and max salinity

there is a crossbow predator in youtube that also uses the speed boost without a neurocyte.
Uhmmmm...

I know, but it has 3 stereocytes and works with separated vertical and horizontal components of sense, so the lateral flagellocytes can't boost.
With 45 degrees stereocytes you only need two stereo and two flagellos using only 6 cells, or 7 if the devorocyte splits.
Neurocyte is necessary if you want a predator with only two flagellos
This is the version with neurocyte
