Two cells
Two cells
Here are my ideas for two cell types:
Immortocyte:
A cell that supplies immortality and synthesizes nutrients for any cells connected to it. To be used for endless experimenting with an organism.
Combocyte:
A cell that can do the functions of two different modes. For example, combine two senseocytes to sense two different colors in the space of one cell. Or combine a phagocyte and a flagellocyte to make a one-celled swimmer.

Hmmm... It may be good but here's the catchK-man wrote: ↑Tue Oct 02, 2018 5:04 pmHere are my ideas for two cell types:

1. Immortocytes may be a combined solution of a lipocyte and a photocyte.
2. Combocytes can be done in a normal way, M1 = Phagocyte that has the child split of M2 = Flagellocyte and M3 = Phagocyte that has a child split of M1

Re: Two cells
OK, immortocytes are refuted, but combocytes could still be useful. What if you wanted to use two senseocytes in the space of one cell? I can also use it by combining 2 stereocytes for my next project: DNA Polymerase.

Re: Two cells
90/10 splits could satisfy your needs. All you need is a well-thought split tree to enable the organism to live, like when to make the organism split to Phagocyte and such. With all 40 modes, I think that's more than enough to make a simple unicellular organism.
Are complex creatures too advanced for you to understand?
Well, let me flood you with them.
Well, let me flood you with them.
Re: Two cells
You mean like the single celled smart farters we once created?

Perfection hasnt reached me yet, but its trying hard!
Re: Two cells
Yep. I think more things could be made from that with the 20-mode expansion.

Re: Two cells
Hmm ya mean like, when Fusing one cell to another?
Sounds like a gamete fusion but different.

Re: Two cells
Not really. You have to program a cell to do the functions of two modes.
About that, I didn't mean a unicellular organism. I meant combining two stereocytes. If I made them side by side, one side would be heavier and the flagellocytes would make it spin in circlesH4yw1r3 wrote: ↑Thu Oct 04, 2018 3:38 pm90/10 splits could satisfy your needs. Oh, you can address that with better design

Re: Two cells
That would change the A.I of the cell though.
Although combining two cells at the time would be beneficial and the best advantage. Well i am working on an illustration on how it works.
Its simple though, It would need much more math to do it. But good idea indeed
