Use of Senseocytes and Stereocytes

Post by I am not creative » Mon Mar 14, 2016 12:00 pm

Hello, I need help in knowing how to use Senseocytes and/or how to use Stereocytes in a predator organism. I know that the organism will be at least 5 cells: Flag.→Myo.→Sens/Ster→Kerat.→Devoro.
Any ideas on how to make it distinguish between different genomes? Thanks ★_★

It's not possible to distinguish between genomes. Stereo- and Senseocytes can sense food chunks or cells of a certain color with a threshold value determining how far a cells actual color can deviate from the sensed color to still be recognized.

I tried that cell arrangement for a Predator once. It wasn't successful. The Flagellocyte and Myocyte can't handle the load or length. I'd suggest trying a different model. You might have to get a little creative. ;)

Yeah, maybe try to solve other challenges first. They might give you an idea on how to approach this one.

Thanks, what about making predators that can track their prey?

That's what you can do by making them sense the color of their prey cells.
