I have these Starfish guys, and they use fission reproduction, which is great, but they seem to have trouble getting much reproduction and I need some help.

That's actually not fission... Please get your description right..

EDIT: Do some research about Fission
Are complex creatures too advanced for you to understand?
Well, let me flood you with them.

Increase the adhesin stiffness of the cells and you could try increasing the Nutrient priority of every cell by 3 or 4 points and then connect them!

They can't swim and the salinity is low so they need constant input fast. Connecting them helps alot (just tried).
Got +1200 cells by doing that

Thanks! I'll try that. BTW they actually are connected during reproduction but not for very long. :)
