Here anything Cell Lab related that doesn't fit into the other topics can be discussed.

How to extend detection distance?

Post by Emera » Fri Feb 09, 2018 11:51 am

I was always wondering how one can extend the detection range for stereo and senseocytes..

(Maybe new cell that will detect visual input might be the way.. but still trying to look in general way of doing it.)

Currently you can only do that by increasing the signal output of the Senseo/Stereo or by adding adding more sensing cells which also results in more signal substance being emitted.
Perfection hasnt reached me yet, but its trying hard!

Unfortunate..I guess I'll run some tests on it.

single senseocyte with max output= max 14 cell distance
double senseocyte " = max 14 cell distance
quadraple senseo " = max 15 cell distance

the sensory stacking might help on the output
increament, but not that useful in detection range.
(and the output value increament is not that effective from certain distance on because of the gradient setting for it.)
