Problem I have a lot (not a bug)

This revolves around the virocites; The virocites infect on contact or at least are supposed to,but lately I've noticed it only works half of the time, making me want to avoid them due to ineffectiveness in the field. My essential question is, "Is this supposed to happen or do the virocites have to touch others for a longer periods to infect?"

If you read the introductory text in "infection I" you will see a phrase, I quote,
"A virocyte is a cell infected with a virus, when it touches other cells it has a probability of infecting them"
Is a luck thing, if you wanna warranty infection you can use gleucocytes or flood the substrate with a lot of virocytes
PEACE & LOVE,
