My Liposwimmer just made it at 134.8 :-D After some more tweaking and start optimization

You can take things up a notch and remove nitrates.

Without nitrates at 153.4h at first try. I'm sure I can optimize that further ;) under 150 should be manageable.

Did you use a modified Liposwimmer? I made a simple modification of your old version to come in around 180. I have a 5-cell Stereo-Nitro swimmer that comes in just below 200. Haven't quite got a swimmer chain working well here.

It's rather a modified Nitroswimmer making it a Liponitroswimmer. Plus starter boost that I'm also using for the Liposwimmer. I call it Liposwimmer on Steroids, or in this case Liponitroswimmer on Steroids ;)

Interesting. I just tried an good but not great Nitroswimmer that finishes in the 180s, and doesn't use exploits at all. Did you use multiple swimmer heads -- one at a time, of course?

Yes, I took my Nitroswimmer as base, the one with 4 different heads, and made combined it with the Liposwimmer design sacrificing 1 head...

Actually that just made me think and I went back to the Nitroswimmer. I got it tweaked to clock in at 141.8 ;)

And of course I'm not using any exploits! I'm just using a few extra modes for a high energy start phase to have 8 swimmers after the first 2h.

I didn't say you were ;) Using exploits, that is. I was just surprised the non-exploitative and relatively non-optimized species that I used did so well. Actually, I don't think exploits can be used very successfully with this sort of time constraint. Species that use all of their resources will do better. I have an exploiter that reaches 900 but it doesn't come close to meeting the time constraint.

And 141, wow! That's a great species.

Yeah, after some first tests I wans't sure anymore I could beat 150h when nitrates were missing. But getting that 1 reproducing head back made a big difference :)
