Shielded beast

Post by CandyYAHFT » Tue Apr 12, 2016 3:01 am

Here you have to push to the wall my triple caps wall esphere (everyone has right to put weird names to their creations) and yes the thing in the middle is a "?" You probabbly don't imagine how much try & fail was for that.
And about the challenge there are a few rules, other than the obvious ones the rules are this:
•Don't max out the substrate
•Don't kill any black photocyte if not with the wall
•All cell types allowed, tough you may find flagellocytes useless here
•you can't have split ratio of 70-30 /30-70, or lower, like 90-10/10-90(to avoid cell fart pushers, sorry Alast :p )
•Only 10 cells inserted

Objective:
•Clean the plate

Since you didn't say how many cells we could insert, I assumed I could use as many as I wanted. ;) I have a crawler that can push it, but the crawler will eventually get turned sideways and crawl off. So, I put one crawler in after another until they pushed everything to the wall.

I'd love to see the solution you made Alast, Btw bwisialo, rules updated, and sending you a Pm regarding this challenge

PM is out. It's a pretty sophisticated organism. And yeah, I'm pretty proud of it ;-)

I can complete it with ten one. ;) I just need to create a row.

I wonder what could I do to make a big organism push in a direction, and the challenge is to push to the other way, but that's neither to easy, nor imposibble, I'm guessing that the only way to do such a thing would be not allowing some key cell types, like lipocytes in a no light envirorment

Here's a simple version of what I had in mind. At these settings, the adhesins break after not too long if it isn't pushing up against something. But it's big and it pushes ;)

Edit: Actually, I think they break because the Photocytes expand. Make them Keratinocytes or something. You get the idea.

Checked it out, but at some point the connection to the Photocytes broke. If you make it reproduce it could become a 1 cell solution :-)

Mine is a crawler attracted by black cells ;-)

Oh, I was responding in part to a PM. I did use a version of this to solve with one cell. Just needed a few changes. A reproducing wall would be a curious creation. ;)

Cool use of a Stereocrawler!
