I used the same as infection II but i change the head to other mode. The virus in there only change mode 2 to their's. So this mean i can change them but they cant do the same to me.

Are you sure your virus infects the other virus rather than just taking over the plate without infecting? I should add that to the solutions that aren't valid in any case. I think I might know how you did a swimmer head change, but I'm not entirely sure. Can you send me a link to your genome via PM?

Look like it just out of luck. The mode two change to mode 5 and 1 when it split. But before the affected cell split, if it counter any black viro, it is done. Im amazed how i test it 3 times and it work , bu now it's harder. So the best way still to use ketatin

Yeah, I tried similar things and never got far, certainly not lucky. Is it something like this?

M1 Virocyte, children M5, M3
M2 Phagocyte, children M5, M1
M5 Phagocyte, children M5, M1

And copy from what mode to what mode?

Actually made a good challenge with my idea. Thanks

A couple of folks suggested this but I couldn't remember who any of them were! Yeah, worked out very well. :)

I remember trying this. Make basic swimmer with another mode other than the initial cell mode.(eg. M20,M19,M18)
Make them overpopulate and kill initial cell. Initial cell can't infect them because they use another mode. Then use the infection II solution to kill your basic swimmer. Is this solution acceptable?

No, that's not acceptable, but thanks for that bit of beta testing info. ;) I just changed inserted cells from 5 max. to 1. :P

Or you could just make it use only certain number of modes. There is never challenge like this.

Why limit this one to certain modes? Yes, I can see where mode restrictions would be useful in some challenges, not sure about this challenge.
