Move it!

Post by Alast » Mon Feb 06, 2017 5:11 pm

Description: This substrate has high Salinity and very low Viscosity with huge nutrient chunks. A paradise for Smart Swimmers. Alas, we cannot use Flagellocytes. Can you still make an organism thriving in this environment?

Substrate: https://www.dropbox.com/s/cpaykw5z015bl ... trate?dl=0

Objective (difficult): Create an organism that survives for 1000h with at least 50 cells

Max Cells inserted: 3

Cell Type allowed: All but Flagellocytes and Devorocytes

Complete it without smart cell. PMed you.

This is why we have beta-testing! :)

You didn't exploit the energy bug in any way, did you?

I'm afraid your genome does, Megathosto. Although in a way we haven't identified yet: Phagocytes farting Devorocytes instead of Devorocytes farting other types of cells.

I found that your M3 Phagocyte farts Devorocytes. Changed those into Phagocytes. With that change your organism does not solve the challenge anymore.

Just to prevent the bug from interfering I will remove Devorocytes from the allowed cell types.

Here's another indicator for the bug. In slow motion your genome ultimately goes extinct.

So , you caught me,huh. :) :) , I too actually forgot about the bug, I'm too in hurry to go to school.

I'll send you without devorocyte version, the third version.

Edit: it work well even if the egg is not gluocyte.

You may want to remove Lipocytes. Not Lipodumping, but they could be used as a debris field to contain movement. A smart solution, but not a smart organism. ;)

I got a 1 mode Phagocyte solution that mostly stays above 300.

Mine is more like phagodumping, although it's not because it's actually their body out of gas and leave behind a lonely head.
