But can always do it if you want. Maybe to practice?

The YouTube channel has way more traffic than the forum, maybe you can make the video like planned, and at the end invite the viewers to join a big tournament that will be streamed.
The submissions are now closed.
Only 3 people submitted their Swimmer, so the good news is that all 3 will be in the wiki.
Thanks to Noughtypixy, Megathosto14 and bwisialo for their submissions.

I said that if less than 4 people submitted to the test, I wouldn't do it... But for the sake of deciding which one will be on the thumbnail, I did it anyway.

I've performed the test 3 times already, recorded it 2 of those 3 and one of them successfully (the other time the recorder crashed and the last one was just to confirm the same results as the first two).

If you want just the results, I can answer right now. However if you want the video, I'll post it tomorrow since it needs a bit of edits.
Note: That video won't have cuts, to showcase openly the way that the test was performed, but I'll add a little window with some text that explains in each moment some of the things I did and make the speed higher where needed.

So, the test is done. Most of you guys already saw the video so you know how it went, but here's the information, substrates and genomes in case anyone wants to check.

The video: (it's on the new channel ;) )

Substrates:
The Swimmers:
Noughtypixy's Swimmer

Bwisialo's Swimmer

These 3 swimmers will appear on the wiki in a little while :)

Great game!!
Thanks Nayus for being a host and bwisialo, that's a total win. You defeated us single-handedly.
Looking forward for another competion in the future
I hope that there'll be more participation in the future.

I misread the rules. I read the nutrient chunk size reduction of 0.005 instead of 0.05

This was fun. And it was kind of exciting to watch. We should do another competition sometime. Thanks to Megathosto and Noughtypixy for submitting. Thanks to Nayus for running the test and creating the video.

I designed mine to live with extremely low nutrients, figuring that the result of doing so would do just fine or at least survive through the high nutrient rounds. I don't know if you noticed but I used three of my modes to get strong start. My swimmers go in large circles, but my first swimmer goes straight and goes faster to produce initial cells and cover lots of ground while the plate is full and territory is unclaimed. Seemed like a good strategy, though I fdon't know that it made any difference. The most important factor was probably keeping the seed cells attached to the swimmers for a tiny fraction of time. That is very good for Macrophages IV and other things.

Secret weapon? What do you mean? I mean, I had a good swimmer, but secret weapon? The strategies I used are ones I posted in videos.
