My v1 solution still maxes out with 1 cell inserted.

I guess the obvious thing for me to do would have been to try your solution on it first.

With a little tweaking I've hit 600. And yes, I did use Lipocytes ;)

Holy crap, I got it maxing out for a moment!

/edit: and stabilized it to repeatedly hit the max count.

Managed to max out without Lipocytes. Sorry ;)

Will send the genome via PM later

That's amazing! I should have known better. :)

Before seeing your solutions, I never knew how incredible Glueocytes are at distributing nutrients and keeping large clusters alive.

I haven’t figured out a way to modify the substrate to give Lipocytes an advantage over Glueocytes for keeping cells alive. Haven’t figured out a way to make both Lipos and Glueos necessary. I’ve pretty much run out ideas. You should see if you can figure it out. ;)

I started trying already ;) Yet have to figure it out myself. There must be something the Lipocyte can do better ;)

But actually I found that my solution without Lipos is stronger than the one with. It hits 800 way faster and repeats the max count way more often in the same time. Maybe that's a case for Petter after all.

/edit: Ok, no gravity and slower rotation looks promising.
