Drift Race

Post by Alast » Mon Aug 07, 2017 10:10 pm

Description: There's a curvy track on this substrate with Stemocytes in every turn. You need to make them turn blue in time. Hint: Green is the trigger

Substrate: https://www.dropbox.com/s/6cwtxipyh3xu5 ... trate?dl=0

Objective (difficult): Turn all 13 Stemocytes blue within 200 hours

Max Cells inserted: 1

Cell Type not allowed: Virocyte

Additional Condition: there cannot be more than 20 of your cells on the substrate at any given time

/edit: New substrate and additional cell count limitation

Solved within 65h :)

/edit: that was for previous substrate.

The substrate? I think it's beautiful ;)

Hint: There's more than one strategy to solve this

Hm, maybe I will have to increase the Viscosity. We'll see.

Update: I've created a new substrate and am changing the rules slightly. There cannot be more than 20 of your cells on the substrate at any given time.

My 65h solution on the first substrate was basically a burst shot swimmers strategy ;-)

The new substrate I have solved.

I've got a Drift Racer genome by now that completes the challenge in 65.7h! Anyone else who solved it or is trying to?

You may not believe this, but I modified C4pung's Paramecium into a race-drifter and it works!
And finish this challenge with 3 different variants of race
[(Aka I insert 3 cell lol)(Yes I break the rule)]*

My next project is turning JPresscott's goldfish into a racer

Imagine a racer that wins by eating all of the road edge
