User-created Challenge: Swirl of Life

Post by Alast » Thu Nov 19, 2015 9:05 am

This is a 0 viscosity challenge. After The Ring with very low viscosity something with none at all felt like the natural next step. And I actually managed to design an organism that seems pretty strong in this particular environment. But, of course, there is always a way to to kill it ;)

Substrate: https://www.dropbox.com/s/aqjzvd2wgk7nb ... trate?dl=0

Objective (Very Difficult): Kill off the organism living in the substrate
Objective (Extremely Difficult): Leave no cells in the substrate

Number of Inserted Cells allowed: 10

Cell types that can by used: All (edit: Bonus - except Virocytes)

Solved Very Difficult without realizing you had posted Extremely Difficult, but my solution does that as well. Virus that keeps the Virocyte connected to the spinners as the spin around. Via PM.

Hm, that was too fast ;) Can you do it without Virocytes? Will update accordingly

But I accept your solution, of course ;) Changing the color from green to a pale purple makes it look sick, very stylish for a virocyte solution ;)

You're also inspiring me to a second version in which your current solution doesn't seem to work ;)

Made some modification to your genome and made it killing and self-destruction machine. Via PM.

Is there any chance I see the genome? Ive tried before, and have not been able to ever create a self-destructing genome...
