I haven't figured out a solution in this challenge. The in-gmae challenge requires actual cells originally from your genome, not from the cells in the substrate itself. I ran out of ideas to solve this one.

I was trying to do a GluoKeratino approahc with this one. It almost works, except the cell limit always bumps me off. Even if there are predators, they can reproduce if the Photocytes out-reproduce them.

Yeah, that's the challenge here. Your organism needs to be strong enough to survive but not so strong it causes an imbalance. Then the substrate tips and ultimately the Photocytes take over.

So your approach goes in the right direction. But it sounds like it's too efficient ;-)

I can't prevent cavities of Photocytes from forming. I'm out of ideas and ready to give up on this one.

That usually means you're protecting them too strongly with your own organism. Spread out more and reproduce less ;)
