I changed cell modes,etc., and I have one that doesn't need light. Now it's more like Alasts', living in very large numbers.

All the solution are simple but interesting ;)

It works, but after running for 1500h, they take over all the substrate, they keep living, which is a really weird behaviour for a totally symbiotic species,
Is there any possibility of being glitchy?

No, it's not a glitch. That's how Alast's solution works as well as mine. It works in part because our species will reduce in numbers once the substrate species' number are very low. Another reason it works has to due with the cell types we used. ;)

Haven't seen that before
I shouldn't used phagocytes
However I still have the solution, bwisialo, all you have to do is change the phagocyte for a gleucocyte, and lift just a little it nutrient priority, and now still works, but now respects the rules
