Post by CandyYAHFT » Thu Dec 03, 2015 5:14 am

First I want to say, sorry Bwisialo, I win this one  8-) , hope you like it
Description
Is a 2mm substrate, with a 2000 cell limit, no nitrates, low nutrient concentration, low nutrient chunk, and no light, here you'll find the highest viscosity for a challenge ever seen, and you'll have to hurry up, because there's also time limit

https://www.dropbox.com/s/n2h00bgk9qpto ... trate?dl=0

Objectives
CELL COUNT
•Get 400 cells (medium)
•Get 600 cells (difficult)
•Get 800 cells (very difficult)
•Get 1000 cells (I don't know if is even possible)
•Break the limits of the universe (well OK no)
TIME LIMIT
•Get your Max cell count in 100h (tortoise)
•Get your Max cell count in 50h (rabbit)
All cell types allowed

Only One Cell Inserted

additional rules
Don't put bugged genomes, I swear that's not necessarily

You should state how many inserted cells are allowed. Starting from 1 I got to 860 in less than 50 h.

Make sure you set the radiation to zero before uploading ;)

Made 970 under 50h :P

/edit: a bit more tweaking got me a peak of 1040. Took 24h after inserting the initial cell.

Reading Skills are a clear advantage ;-)

And I learned now how powerful my Nitroswimmer really is :-)

Is it adapted from the Conquering II solution?

Well, I was hoping this to be more difficult, I guess it doesn't deserve the "Harsh Conditions" name, anyway, I'm happy to see that you're so well designing genomes, could you send me that genomes via PM?

Yes, that was the base to my solution. But actually this version is not fit for Conquering II.

Can send the genome later. Maybe have to wait until the weekend.

How much time did you spend evolving?
Because I evolved my genome for 16000h using infection IV species, and get something that crawls around 900 and then falls and reach equilibrium at 800

I didn't evolve, I designed. Maybe took me 15 minutes to get from the initial genome to the one that gets over 1000. After that it goes down to around 600 though.
