Best 2 mode swimmers (no substrate challenge)

Post by CandyYAHFT » Mon Dec 07, 2015 6:39 pm

Here I would like to make you challenge your really designing habilities, make your own substrate, it must have no radiation, no light, have a size of 1mm and have nitrates, your objectives will be to make your best 2 mode swimmers to survive in your own substrate, if don't wanna have a hard time uploading your substrates, you can send them to yahftunited@gmail.com is an email I only use for Cell Lab, so if you send me a message with something not related to Cell Lab, I'll know you're lying, I know this is a really weird challenge, if you have no idea of how to do this, you can post here, and I'll show an example, 2 mode swimmers are pretty primitive beings, they won't ever be developed through evolution, because they're pretty useless, but, they give you a chance to probe your creativity, making them perfect for the environment you create for them, I'm doing this because I'm a little tired of too many complex organisms that I can't design by my self, 2 mode swimmers usually can't handle high viscosity, if you have doubts send me PM

Objectives:
*Design a substrate with 1mm size, and nitrates, you can edit only the settings that are usually edited in the challenges
*Design a 2 mode swimmer that survives in it
*post your awesome creation

additional details.
I'll post my own substrate in 6 hours, to let you some time to be creative, but I already have it, Petter were the first on sugesting this was possible, but I don't know if he did it
PEACE & LOVE,
CANDY

I created a 2 mode swimmer that maxes out at 800 ;)

No. If I leave concentration at default and move cunk size to the spot roughly in the middle spot between the viscosity setting and the concentration setting, it will max out ;)

Is max out a first wave peak for you or does your swimmer constantly/repeatedly max out?

I'm currently first-wave-peaking at about 770 on a standard substrate (only radiation changed to 0).
