i saw this post long ago and i was amazed.
After some time I got back to this again and tried lower radiation levels.
I turned the level to 0.05~0.06 and watched it evolve for a while, the species gradually evolves into a species that:
let m1 be devourcyte, m1 splits to m1 and fixed phagocyte mode with adhesin connection. phagocyte eats the food on the plate as it is devoured by m1. The phagocyte splits into an new individual If condition is good.
I have seen such species too in the past when dealing with basic swimmers, in my case this species wiped all swimmers and was able to survive on its own as it can produce its own food.
