Your swimmer is so compact, essential for the swimmer to easily turn around. I do suggest for you to use Stereocytes instead of Senseocytes or add a Neurocyte and reprogram the whole organism. Job well done!

Thank you! I appreciate your comments on the organism :>
And regarding the senseocyte/stereocyte thing, it does have a stereocyte between its flagella. The senseocytes are only used to sense if the cell's approaching the plate's edge.

The Stereocyte you currently use is used for food navigation. Yes, I know that Senseocytes detect the substrate's 'walls' but it will only output one type of signal, aka only positive S1 for example. It won't have a sense of direction to repel away, unlike Stereocytes which could detect left and right. It's either you'll have a set of these cells:

A.)
Stereocyte - Food Navigation
Stereocyte/s - Wall Detection

OR

B.)
Stereocyte - Food Navigation
Senseocytes (Atleast 2) - Wall Detection
Neurocyte - Signal Conversion

OR

C.)
(Flagellum signals are S3)
Senseocytes (S1, for example) - Food Detection
Senseocytes (S2, for example) - Wall Detection
Neurocytes (To convert S1 and S2 into S3)- Signal Conversion

Option C will be a little bit harder because it needs fine-tuning. I don't expect you to understand all of this. Just a little tip for better wall repellance of your organism.

EDIT:
Grammar corrections.

Ohh, okay, I get it now. I thought the organism was detecting the walls correctly? Because most of the time it would just turn around when it faced a wall. Thanks for telling me, though.

It turns around because food won't spawn beyond the walls, right? ;)

Food will only spawn behind it, making it turn around.

Aaa shyte you're right.
Y'know, now that I think about it, the whole "wall detection" thingy is kinda useless, because they'll turn around to search for food anyways, and since the objective of this organism is to make it compact, then I guess it would be okay if I just got rid of the senseocytes altogether lel

You could make a dodging system for your swimmers to escape predators or avoid locking up each other (which is rare).

Without Ciliocytes your swimmer doesn't even need Wall detection :-) The other versions (including mine) only have that because the Ciliocytes at the mouth would otherwise get stuck at the substrate wall and the organism would die. Your's isn't in danger of that.
Perfection hasnt reached me yet, but its trying hard!
