Brained koi carp

Post by Steeletto » Sat Aug 18, 2018 11:19 am

I designed this fish in 3 different colors. It reproduces by gamete contact and the child have a casual mix of parents colors, similar to the real koi carp colors.

It has 5 myocytes and 2 lateral flagello that work on S2 channel and a tale that works on S3. When its body bends the tale slows down to have a better turn angle.
There are 13 colored modes in every genome and 3 possible colors for each of them, can you help me to calculate the possible combinations?
Thank you
Here's the substrate

I love the layouts of the koi. Maybe make another versions of the kois in which they can independently reproduce?
Are complex creatures too advanced for you to understand?
Well, let me flood you with them.

The motion of Koi carp is smoother, better than the Orandas's. Well done! (^_^)

I've already a version that reproduces by parthenogenesis, I will link the substrate soon

3 different colors and 13 modes mean 3¹³

Edit: It is correct, right? (@_@)

You mean Paleogenetics?
Thats hard to spell for some spelling beginners though (sorry for the racist comment though)

No. Parthogenesis is the actual reproduction while Paleogenetics is the study of the remains of an organism.
