8bit Angle Variables

It is possible to use 8bit int variables for Angles? I think there could be some reducction of RAM usage if you could reduce type of data held by genome. For example, I think we dont need 360° rotation, I think we could survive with just 256 different angles. And maybe also we could use this type of reduction for other parameters.

Yeah it would definitely be possible and save some memory in a lot of cases. It would just be more work for me figuring out what precision is necessary in each case and to properly rescale it. Just using floats everywhere is simply easier.

Exactly, it is a good idea, though I have other things with higher priority.
