The Great Challenge

Post by Alir001 » Thu Apr 11, 2019 11:48 am

Difficulty: Superhuman AI.

Max inserted cells: 1

Cells allowed: all except photocyte

Goal: Reach 125 cells and keep them alive for 100h. Complete within 1.700h.

Hint: dumb organisms don't do very well, try using a smart approach. Evolution will help.

The conditions of this substrate are very hostile to almost any organism, very little and scarce nutrients can prevent ur organism from reproducing. can you design one that can survive such conditions and prove to be able to live in it? :ugeek:

Extra rules: no changing substrate settings, no use of the ''lipo-dumping''.

record: 134 cells  (already completed it)

This challenge requires Serious optimization to your cells, remember ur cells should keep the limit for 100h. If u run out of time try again.

Umm...
If the challenge doesn't allow photocyte, why the substrate has light on it?

LOL, it can really convince me.

The solution of this challenge is pretty "simple".
You can finish it with an evoluted smart swimmer

Now seeing that evolution makes organisms quite efficient (making a simple kite swimmer overkill) i decided to raise the difficult, read updated goal. Also please don't post any kind of solution, only hints; if you want to share do it in PM.

Seems like it was way too easy.

evoluted means utilising radiation for mutation, or what exactly do you mean with that term?
