How citoskeleton parameter works?

Here anything Cell Lab related that doesn't fit into the other topics can be discussed.

How citoskeleton parameter works?

Post by Steeletto » Thu Aug 08, 2019 8:21 am

I don't know much about this parameter, I've experienced a bug with that and don't figure out how does it really work.

Do you mean cytoskeleton?
If that's what you mean then here it is:

This is the in-game description:
"The cytoskeleton helps the cell keep its shape together under pressure.
A higher setting needs more resources to create the cell but it can keep its shape better under pressure."

Basically, the cytoskeleton slider regulates how much pressure a cell can take from other cells or the cell wall before it pops.
A higher setting however, will require more resources to create the cell.

Thank you! That's what I wanted to know, however I've found a bug and I think it's something relationed with the cytoskeleton. In particular conditions some cells explode with no contact with others, it's really weird :geek:

Maybe because of age. You can check how much is its age before it explode. Any cells will naturally explode after it is older than 240 hours.
Currently playing with Buoyocytes over the rainbow. :geek:
