Some challenges are hard :). Here we can discuss their solutions. Please find the thread for the appropriate challenge or create it if it doesn't exist.
Description: We have a skin sample from a patient with skin cancer.
Can you engineer an organism that can remove the cancer cells but keep the rest of the skin intact?
Win Conditions: Have all 13 initial lipocytes turn into 13 infected cells
Yep. At first, I thought I have to make a virus that can "spread" inside the "tissue" layers and infect all the black cells. Sadly, a condition limits me from doing so by counting exactly the number of cells that shouldn't be infected.
Are complex creatures too advanced for you to understand? Well, let me flood you with them.
It is, indeed. I haven't tried my 3-celled organism again. I'm still convinced that a 3-celled organism can do it.
EDIT:
Not only convinced but I also cracked it. Looks like it only needed a slight balance in nutrient priority and some adhesin strengthening. 3-celled solution confirmed!
